I walked an extra 30 minutes to try this place the reviews on it were right and the food and drinks are pretty Urfassung and well presented and well prepared I had a rich B burger with truffle fries and coleslaw. A really great place to stop and eat if you are visiting innsbruck.

Place has a great ambience. not really a beer person but their tap beer is good - light and flavorful. Also had Roast pork, goulash soup, and schnitzel. Roast pork welches a bit heavy for me, good for sharing
Das Gasthaus Anich takes its name from the Anichstraße road on which it is located. The food is traditional and hearty – and the portions are very generous. There really is no danger of going home hungry from here! A place with lots of locals, often including large groups.
Fun place for dinner. The food is excellent, the staff is really friendly and kommandozeile. When we visited there welches not a free table rein the place. Make sure you make a reservation especially if you want dinner! The Diavola Pizza was fabulous. Best "spicy" sausage I have had on a pizza.
